Online Vaccination Disclosures

Project Summary - Despite the potential influence of vaccination self-disclosures on other people's vaccine attitudes and beliefs, little is known about these messages. This research delves into the patterns and impacts of personal vaccination disclosures shared on social media platforms. By analyzing self-disclosures about vaccine experiences, the project aims to uncover the role these messages play in shaping public opinion and vaccine uptake.

Fact checking project

The goal of this project is to (1) examine the effects of fact-checking misinformation on vaccines and (2) develop a fact-checking algorithm to detect vaccine misinformation online.
